Click the Edit button under 'TempoTap' in the left-hand menu to adjust your recording using the MIDI Tool (outlined below).A dialog will pop up asking if you want the last recorded tempo to persist through the remainder of the score. When finished, simply click anywhere on the score to stop recording.Each subsequent press of the space bar will move to the next note, recording the tempo as you go. When you are ready, press the space bar to begin recording your tempo.A green playhead will appear meaning you are ready to record. Select the HyperScribe tool and click a measure in the TempoTap staff.Using normal note input, change the blue TempoTap notes to define the lengths of the notes you will tap out.TempoTap allows you to tap out the intervals between key notes in real time.A good alternative is 'Tempo Alterations'. To specify tempo on a per-note basis, you must move your expressions to a category other than 'Tempo Marks'. Note: Expressions in the 'Tempo Marks' category can only be applied at the start of a measure. Adjust tempo by creating a new expression each time you want the tempo to change.Below are some tempo editing strategies you can use to achieve detailed playback in Finale. Transcribing detailed tempo changes in Finale can be a difficult task.
